What to wear to the Utah Social Media Awards
The Utah Social Media Awards planning committee has received requests to clarify appropriate attire for our 2009 Utah Social Media Awards at Noah’s in South Jordan on Nov. 6.
The dress code for the USMAs is a bit difficult to pin down. Like the diversity of Social Media Club members, we find strength in differences.
We expect some will wear suits and dresses (although not together in the same ensemble) and we expect to see some in business casual attire.
We don’t expect to see any shorts and T-shirts or pajamas because, after all, this is Utah and the USMAs are in November.
We hope everyone will dress to impress. After all, the Utah Social Media Awards are the community’s most high-profile celebration of the people and companies engaged in new media.
It’s not necessary to rent a fancy outfit, unless of course it’s a Victor/Victoria tux/dress. That would be awesome! (But this week’s Halloween, not next week. LOL!)
