The nominations are in
We have now received well over 100 nominations for the first Utah Social Media Awards.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far.
The nominees will now be gathered by category and finalists selected to be reviewed by out of market judges.
Finalists will be notified in October and encouraged to attend the Utah Social Media Awards on Nov. 6, 2009 to see if they won an USMA.
To be sure you receive a printed invitation to the USMAs, be sure to send your physical mailing address to SMCSLCaddress [at] gmail.com.
In the next week or so you will be able to vote for a People’s Choice USMA award recipient. Voting will take place on this site, UtahSocialMediaAwards.info. The People’s Choice award will be similar to the Best of Show award, the difference being we the people will select the People’s Choice recipient and the judges will select the Best of Show recipient.

This is getting so exciting! The first social media awards, where those of us who use social media, get to choos,e who we are the most impressed with, and tel why!
The event on November 6th will be the first of it’s kind in the world! Once again, lil ole UT cuts the edge and sets the bar for others!
