The birth of Utah’s first awards program focused exclusively on social media
Today The Social Media Club of Salt Lake City announces the creation of the Utah Social Media Awards — the state’s first awards program designed to recognize excellence in social media practitioners and practices throughout Utah.
The USMAs, as we affectionately call them, have been in the works now since the beginning of the year. And now it’s time to let the proverbial cat out of the bag.
For those of you who haven’t yet heard about this new awards program first-hand, we have created this site!
We encourage you to review this site’s About and Nominate pages, and give a hearty thank you to the seven brave souls who are making this all possible, the USMA Planning Committee. You could also thank the leadership team of SMC of SLC, since they approved the idea a few months back.
Okay, start thinking: whom can I nominate for the most awesome social media award in the state of Utah? And in the immortal words of Kung Fu Panda, “There is no charge for awesomeness . . . or attractiveness!”
